The Pearl

I was introduced to delicious in library school--back when it was still de.lici.ous or whatever. I loved it--thought it would this fantastic tool in my new career as a library scientist (sometimes I wish we got to wear lab coats). I have never really used it on the job. We can't download the thingy that lets you save links from your toolbar. I still think it is a great tool, but download restrictions on our staff computers (while totally necessary!) take away some of the ease of use and functionality of delicious. So, this is one thing I can live without. Although, it was fun to log back into my account and see all the links to Canadian immigration sites that I compiled in grad school I don't think I'll be resurrecting my links.

And because this post is ultra boring, I'm including this geektastic link to an article about a Dharma desktop featured over at lifehacker: http://lifehacker.com/5252599/the-dharma-desktop

Which is your favorite Dharma Initiative station?

  1. That was a trick! I thought you were some cool Buddhist or something then I find out the Dharma Initiative is just some made-up thing from a TV show! And it has nothing to do with Buddhism!!!
