Yahoo's site Upcoming is listed on the 2007 Web 2.0 awards list (and yes, I know that is about as old as Methuselah in computer years). I don't think it has taken off the way they thought it would in 2007--at least not in Sacramento. I've tried posting program information on Upcoming a couple of times and nothing much has happened. The site has great potential but it just isn't the Yelp of local events that I believe they were going for. I'm going to keep trying though!
